YouTuber Gaurav Taneja Opens Up On His Arrest Through Joint Statement With Wife; Says “Fans Were Not Violent”
YouTuber Gaurav Taneja a.k.a Flying Beast was arrested by Noida Police after he celebrated his Birthday party at a metro station. His wife Ritu Rathee booked a coach in a metro at Sector 51. Both the YouTuber and his wife announced the party on Instagram and that led to a “stampede like situation” at the metro station as hundreds of people came running after they saw the post on Instagram.
However, after being arrested, Gaurav Taneja and wife Ritu Rathee opened up through a statement that “permission had been solicited and granted for the same through the proper channels”. Furthermore, the YouTuber said that the fans that had come to the metro station were “not violent” and they didn’t cause any “harm to the public property”. The statement read as “exemplary behaviour speaks volumes of the example the influencer couple has set for their fans”.
Further it added that both Gaurav and Ritu are “overwhelmed with the love and affection” they get from the fans. Ritu said that the fans gathered at the metro station in huge numbers because they feel that Gaurav and Ritu are a “part of their family”.
Gaurav Taneja was detained for a few hours at the Noida Sector 49 Police Station and then he got bail.
The YouTuber has a channel named Flying Beast on the platform which has seven million subscribers. Furthermore, the couple has over 4.9 million followers on Instagram as well.
