Web3 Domain Provider Adds Dogecoin (DOGE) to Payment Options
Unstoppable Domains, a major Web3 domain provider, has added Dogecoin (DOGE) as an option for payments. The domain provider accepts other popular crypto assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), stablecoins USD Coin (USDC) and DAI, smart contract platform Polygon (MATIC), and others. This announcement comes after it was revealed that Dogecoin is outperforming other crypto assets in terms of the percentage of its holders who are currently in profit. At least 40% of DOGE holders have consistently remained profitable, and the last time over 60% of the token’s holders were in loss was in 2015, according to crypto analytics platform IntoTheBlock. This news may have contributed to Unstoppable Domains’ decision to include Dogecoin as a payment option. The addition of Dogecoin as a payment option by a major domain provider signals growing acceptance of the popular meme asset.
