Top Gainer Filecoin Impacts Cryptocurrency Market Today; Bitcoin and Ethereum Record Losses
Bitcoin and Ethereum reached over $25,000 and $1,700 respectively on Sunday, but both saw a minor decline in prices, as did other popular altcoins. Despite the overall market seeing losses, Filecoin saw a 24-hour jump of over 18%, making it the biggest gainer, while Frax Share was the biggest loser. The global crypto market cap stood at $1.05tn with a 24-hour loss of 3.26%. Dogecoin registered a 24-hour gain of 4.60% and Ripple saw a 24-hour gain of 0.08%. Solana saw a 24-hour gain of 9.38%. As per CoinMarketCap data, the top five crypto gainers over the past 24 hours were Filecoin, Solana, Algorand, Flow, and Cardano, while the top five losers were Frax Share, MX Token, KuCoin Token, BitDAO, and Trust Wallet Token.
