Cryptocurrency markets rose on Monday as the global cryptocurrency market cap hit $1.02tn, up 7.63% in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 9.24% to $22,462 while Ethereum (ETH) exceeded $1,600. Cryptocurrencies such as Tron, Cardano, Litecoin, Shiba Inu, Solana, and Dogecoin also experienced gains. The market was boosted by reports of the US government’s plan to protect all depositors at Silicon Valley Bank. BTC’s dominance is currently 42.24%, and the market cap of Bitcoin stands at around $433.23bn. Rajagopal Menon, Vice President at WazirX, said that major market oscillators indicate a neutral sentiment among investors. While the Relative Strength Index (14) shows a neutral outlook, Two oscillators indicate a sell.
