RYAN DALLAS HORNER, 36, of Lapeer, passed away on July 11, 2022. He was born to Robin and Jon Horner on December 27, 1985 in Lapeer. Ryan had enjoyed rollerblading ever since he was a child. He spent many nights with his brothers and friends at the Lapeer Skating Rink all night skates. There you could catch his infectious laugh and brilliant smile. Ryan also enjoyed his moped, working out at Planet Fitness and being a self-proclaimed “Dogecoin Master” #Dogecoin. Most of all, he was a man of God and loved his Family. He was an intense believer in his faith and recently began attending Calvary Bible Church. Ryan was a wonderful, caring, compassionate, and gentle soul who loved immensely.
Ryan is survived by his adored children, Madison Elizabeth Horner and Zane Xavier Horner; parents, Robin Restrepo and Jon Horner; brothers, Jonathan Horner and Eric (fiancé Alexandra) Horner; sister, Julia Christina Hoffmann; aunts, Valrie Hauxwell, Melissa McClearn; uncles, Bryan Wellington, Joshua Wellington; close cousin, Craig Keesee; his two beloved cats, Raji and Rayne.
Ryan is preceded in death by his great-grandpa, Francis Harold Conant; great-grandmother, Mary Grace Conant; and grandfather, Melvin Allen Wellington.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors – Capstick Chapel in Lapeer, MI. A private family celebration of Ryan’s life will take place at a later date. Ryan will be deeply missed, but we have many special memories in our hearts to cherish forever.
