Tesla Accepts Dogecoin Officially?? – Here is the proof!
Tesla Website Adds Dogecoin Payment Code
Tesla appears to have re-added Dogecoin payment code to its website backend after Twitter sleuths rediscovered references to DOGE in the source code. This comes after Elon Musk announced Tesla would soon make merchandise available to buy using Dogecoin.
In one instance, for example, the code ‘crypto: “Dogecoin” is in a section with other payment types. This includes Apple Pay, cards, and direct debits. A second file in the source code also includes two references to Dogecoin’s brand colours. Dogecoin also seems to be the only cryptocurrency included in the payment code. There is no mention of Bitcoin, previously accepted by Tesla.
We already know that Space X is launching a fully funded mission just months away. It’s fully funded with Dogecoin, taking Dogecoin and putting it literally on the Moon. And now we are seeing that Dogecoin is already on Tesla’s database to be accepted for not only merchandise but also for their vehicles.
Elon Musk and Tesla have already implemented Dogecoin into the database of Tesla to start accepting Dogecoin as a form payment. And this is going to be bigger than just merchandise. We’ll need to wait for official confirmation from the company before anything else.
