Poll Shows Bitcoin Community Calling on Elon Musk to Incorporate Lightning Network Payments

A recent poll conducted by the Bitcoin Archive Twitter account has revealed that the majority of Bitcoin community members are in favor of integrating Bitcoin Lightning Network-based payments on Twitter. The poll was addressed to Twitter boss Elon Musk, who has previously expressed his support for Dogecoin micropayments on the platform. However, it is likely that neither BTC nor DOGE will be implemented on the social media behemoth, as Twitter has been working on launching its own ‘Coins’ feature for rewarding content creators. This feature will allow users to buy an internal Twitter coin with fiat money and then use it to tip creators. Transactions are expected to be conducted via Stripe, an Internet platform that makes it possible to conduct payments globally.
