Holders of AI-Backed Crypto Assets Caught off Guard by Elon Musk’s Negative Tweet towards Dogecoin

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and co-founder of OpenAI, has tweeted that he is now interested in artificial intelligence (AI) instead of cryptocurrency. Musk’s evolving interest in technology has caused speculation that he may soon launch his own AI company, despite being an advocate of blockchain technology. His tweet caused a brief drop in Dogecoin’s price, as well as an increase in the value of SingularityNET’s native token, AGIX. Musk has previously expressed concern over the future of AI technology, and AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI has impressed technology enthusiasts with its capabilities. Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015 but later left due to disagreements over the company’s approach. While not abandoning cryptocurrency entirely, it appears Musk is shifting his focus more towards AI.
