Here’s the Amount of Ad Revenue Shared by Elon Musk, the Founder of Dogecoin

Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has begun distributing ad revenue to content creators on the platform. The first round of payments amounted to $5 million, and one of the top earners was Dogecoin founder Billy Markus. Markus, who has 2.1 million followers on Twitter, received a payment of $37,050, making him the second highest earner in this round. The highest earner was the Internet Hall of Fame, who earned $107,247 with approximately 1.9 million followers.

The distribution of payments is not solely based on the number of followers, as other creators with more followers received significantly less money. Markus’s high engagement with his posts is likely what placed him in the top spot. His close relationship with Elon Musk, who has expressed interest in Dogecoin, may have also influenced his popularity.

Many have been hopeful that Musk’s leadership of Twitter, which he acquired last year, would bring benefits to creators in the digital currency space. While Markus’s payment may seem small compared to his network, it is seen as a positive start with potential for more in the future.
