Ethereum Surges Above $1,800 and Top Cryptocurrencies See Green in Today’s Prices

Cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Dogecoin, Ripple, Solana, and Litecoin experienced gains on Friday, with Ethereum managing to surpass the $1,800 mark. At the time of writing, the global cryptocurrency market cap was at $1.18tn, registering a 24-hour gain of 3.06%. Bitcoin saw a 24-hour gain of 3.11%, currently priced at $28,270.13, while Ethereum saw a 24-hour gain of 4.29% and was priced at $1,814.92. The Mask Network token was the biggest gainer, with a 24-hour gain of 21.29%, while Arbitrum became the top loser with a 24-hour loss of 88.17%. Mudrex co-founder and CEO Edul Patel stated that Bitcoin had experienced a swift recovery after a drop to $27,000 on 24 March, with investors pushing its value back up to over $28,000. This level was reached earlier in the week when hopes were high for a reduction in central bank hawkishness. In the last 24 hours, BTC has gained approximately 3%, resulting in an overall increase of around 22% this month and over 65% since the start of the year. WazirX Vice President Rajagopal Menon said that the crypto market has seen an uptick as Bitcoin rebounds above $28,000 with a 3.8% gain in the past 24 hours, despite regulatory concerns. Kunji founder Anurag Dixit highlighted the need for clear regulatory frameworks and communication between regulators and industry players to avoid unexpected actions.
