Elon Musk Mission : Taking Dogecoin to the Moon!!
Elon Musk is a man who does things that people either want to do or dream of doing. Most of the time it’s impossible until he actually does it.
He has proven time and time again that you can never predict him and not stop him from trying out certain things, and that if he gets an idea in his head, you shouldn’t be surprised by anything that he revealed, which was proven very recently as he announced he was going to take something very specific and put it into space.
The satellite dubbed Doge-1
SpaceX is now accepting Dogecoin, and it will be paid exclusively in the cryptocurrency to launch an upcoming satellite named Doge. The Doge-1 is a CubeSat meant to acquire lunar spatial intelligence using onboard cameras and sensors.
Elon Musk is the highest profile supporter, tweeting that Doge means referring to himself as the Doge father and hyping it up sort of the Saturday Night Live sort of way. The mission will launch in the first quarter of 2022 on a Falcon nine rocket.
One to yes, to the moon
The CubeSat will be flown by a company named Geometric Energy Corporation, and is being paid for by Dogecoin owner Elon Musk and his company, SpaceX. It will orbit the moon with a price tag of $2.5 million. Dogecoin will be co-pilot on the first mission to Mars, which will take off from the base of the moon.
Elon Musk is creating a frenzy of sorts about the importance of cryptocurrency, like don’t call it. This is what Elon Musk does, what he’s known for, and frankly, we wouldn’t be surprised.
