The CEO of Robinhood, Vlad Tenev, responded to Mark Cuban’s tweet about Dogecoin. The tweet is going to change the way crypto investing works on Robinhood, specifically with Dogecoin.

Doge is the one coin that people actually use for transactions, we take many others via @BitPay. But people spend their Doge and that means more businesses will start taking it. The greatest inhibitor to Dogecoin growth is that you can spend Doge, you can’t spend the Doge you buy on Robinhood.

Robinhood is opening up deposits and withdrawals for Dogecoin

It’s essentially just stored in a wallet that’s owned by Robinhood. They have wallets that store all of the crypto in it. The CEO of Robinhood, the app that lets users invest in money online, is opening up deposits and withdrawals for Dogecoin. The move is a game changer for millions of people who buy and sell crypto on Robinhood, including many Dogecoin owners.

Now they can use the crypto they purchase and invested to actually buy items on the Internet, which is what Mark Cuban said is the biggest inhibitor to Dogecoin’s growth right now.

“This is going to be so big because that means that now people may buy more. They may say, well, now I can actually use this, so I’m going to buy more on Robinhood Crypto” Millions of people who are now going to have access on Robinhood to actually withdraw deposit crypto, specifically Dogecoin and all the other crypto is out there.

This is going to lead to more businesses accepting it, more people actually spending it and wanting to use it as an actual currency.
