BURGER KING BRAZIL ACCEPTS DOGECOIN FOR DOGPPER (Dog Food)
Burger King Brazil is now accepting Dogecoin as a payment system for specifically one product, and that is Dogpper. Dogpper is a dog food. Each tasty treat costs 3 Doge or roughly 60 cents. So the service has been available since Monday.
According to the company’s official website though users should check the availability of the delivery in the regions, the company said. The company recommends purchasing a minimum of five units per order for “availability reasons”, and users must transfer Doge to a Burger King Brazil wallet, although they can also purchase the dog food with Fiat.
The Company had already launched the product in Argentina 2019
So it’s not something new for Burger King. The company had already launched the product in Argentina in 2019 so the customers could share something with their dogs when they received their deliveries in Brazil. The company launched an ad in July to promote the product in the country. It does not appear that Burger King Brazil will allow customers to purchase human food using Doge at this time.
With the popularity of Dogecoin, it probably will gain more customers and to attract more customers to buy this product, this dog food. Probably more and more regions will start accepting Dogecoin and more Burger King branches as well, but although that they only do it for marketing reasons. But even though that they say, it does not appear that Burger King Brazil will allow customers to purchase human food using Doge at this time. But in the near future, probably more and more companies will start accepting Dogecoin and talking about companies that are that begin to accept Dogecoin.
