Elon Musk says he has shifted his interest from cryptocurrencies to artificial intelligence (AI). The CEO of Twitter tweeted on Friday, saying “I used to be in crypto, but now I got interested in AI.” This is a significant shift in Musk’s previous stance, where he had been vocal about his support for Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency that he had been promoting for years. Musk had previously warned of the risks of AI, and recently expressed a bit of anxiety about it. He also commented that AI+human vs AI+human is the next phase of technological advancement, but the human part will decrease in relevance over time. Musk had claimed that AI will be smarter than humans, capable of overtaking us by 2025.
